The cost of rhinoplasty in Barcelona
What determines the cost of a rhinoplasty, what a serious quote should include and how to finance it. A fixed quote after your assessment.
The cost of a rhinoplasty in Barcelona is not a single figure: it depends on the complexity of each case. A straightforward primary rhinoplasty does not cost the same as a secondary rhinoplasty with cartilage grafts, or an operation that also corrects a deviated septum. That is why we always give a fixed, personalised quote after the assessment, with no hidden costs.
What does the price depend on?
- Type of surgery: primary, secondary (more complex, with grafts) or nasal reconstruction.
- Functional component: whether the septum, turbinates or nasal valve also need correcting in the same operation.
- Need for grafts: cartilage from the septum, the ear or the rib, depending on the case.
- Facility and team: hospital operating theatre, anaesthetic team and surgical time.
- The surgeon’s experience and the technology used (in every case, ultrasonic technique).
What a serious quote should include
Before comparing prices, check what each quote includes. Ours is fixed and covers the whole process:
- Fees for the surgeon and the medical team.
- Use of the operating theatre and the anaesthetic team.
- Surgical materials, including the ultrasonic technology.
- Post-operative check-ups and follow-up through to discharge.
Be wary of prices far below the market: they usually leave out the operating theatre, the anaesthetic or the follow-up, and in nose surgery the surgeon’s experience is what keeps you from needing a second operation.
Why don’t we publish a fixed price on the website?
Because it would not be rigorous. Quoting a figure without having examined your nose is not a quote, it is a hook. At the first consultation your case is studied — aesthetics and breathing alike, with an endoscopic examination where appropriate — and you are given an exact written quote for what you need, not a generic price.
Financing: paying in instalments
We offer tailored financing so that cost is not a barrier, with instalments adapted to your situation. You can request information with no obligation alongside your quote.
Is it covered by public healthcare or insurance?
Aesthetic rhinoplasty is not covered. The strictly functional part may be (for example, a septoplasty for a symptomatic deviated septum), depending on your policy or the public system. At your consultation we explain clearly which part of your case is functional and which is aesthetic.
Frequently asked questions about the price
How much does a rhinoplasty cost in Barcelona?
It depends on the complexity: a primary is not the same as a secondary with grafts, or one that also corrects breathing. We give a fixed, personalised quote at the first consultation, with no hidden costs, and we offer financing.
Is secondary rhinoplasty more expensive?
Usually yes. It means working on tissue that has already been operated on, it takes more surgical time and it frequently requires cartilage grafts to rebuild the structure, all of which adds complexity.
Is there a charge for the first consultation?
Ask us when you book: we tell you the terms of the assessment in advance, with no surprises.
Can rhinoplasty be financed?
Yes. We have tailored financing with adapted instalments. You can ask for a simulation alongside your quote.
Does the price include the follow-up check-ups?
Yes. The quote is fixed and includes post-operative follow-up with the same surgeon through to discharge.
